THE PERSONAL GYM®
USES DURA-BAND THERAPY BANDS

Dura-Band uses a new design that is going to revolutionize the industry of progressive resistance training.  Here are a few of the many advantages of Dura-Band.

First is the durability of Dura-Band as compared to the durability of the present latex gold standard of thin, six-inch-wide and four-inch-wide bands.  Dura-Band has its manufacturer use a layering process that allows Dura-Band to be made in a straight length, one-inch wide and significantly thicker than traditional latex therapy bands.  By binding the layers together, a tough, resilient band is formed.  This process also makes it more resistant to pinhole ripping and edge tears which are a leading cause in the rupturing of latex therapy bands. Its durability feature was the driving force behind its name - Dura-Band.

Second, Dura-Band Exercise Bands are attached to a specially designed clip and band adjuster.  The clip on Dura-Band easily allows the therapy band to be clipped and unclipped onto a point of resistance, such as the Personal Gym®, Dura-Band exercise handles, any D-Ring, an exercise pole, wire fence or almost any other point of resistance currently being used in band-resistance training.  This attaching process is accomplished without ever having to tie or untie a cumbersome knot.

The band adjuster on Dura-Band allows the user to easily control the resistance of the band, by adjusting the length of the band.  A longer length creates less resistance; a shorter length creates more resistance.

Dura-Band also uses only a trace of powder, is vanilla scented (eliminating the unwanted odors of traditional latex bands) and is 99.998% free of latex allergens.

Finally, one of its best features is cost.  In today’s economy and in particular the medical marketplace, cost containment is a must.  A Dura-Band Exercise Kit competes with, or is less expensive than, other latex exercise kits on the market today.
